The Difference Between a “Mini” or “Marathon” Photo Session and a Full-Day Boudoir Session

Our annual Fall “choose your own adventure” marathon photo sessions are perfect for past clients who…

-need a pick-me-up since their session with us,

-or-

-if you want to dip your toes in to see what a boudoir session is like without the commitment of our 6-hour experience

Who mini sessions are not good for:

-Someone who is not comfortable sharing the studio space with other clients. Everyone has a separate area whether you’re getting makeup done, being photographed or viewing your images, so it is as private as we can manage. We may have up to three clients in the studio at one time. But, if you love people, want to encourage others in passing, and like a community event this is for you.

-Someone who wants the most amount of variety as possible. You can add on the second set during our marathon days for $99, which gives you extra time with us and more variety, but it will not compare to a full day experience with us, where you can have up to 5 outfits and up to 9 different sets. You will have an album that is VERY cohesive with these marathon sessions, because of the limited sets and outfits.

-Someone who doesn’t want to feel at all rushed. We’ll be on a timeline this day in order to service 4 clients in 6 hours, versus only 1. We do leave extra time in between just in case we’re running 15-20 minutes behind schedule. Consider adding on the extra set for “Choose Your Own Adventure” because then you get extra time with the team.

-Someone who takes a while to warm up to a process. In a regular session day, the first outfit is considered a “warm up”. During marathon days, we’ll jump right into the photo session after makeup styling into your first of two outfits. I GOT YOU when it comes to posing, so you don’t have to worry about not knowing what to do with your body. If you are worried about this, I recommend adding the second set and extra 30 minutes of shooting time.
